Job description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a placement in a real environment where the successful candidate will have a major influence on moving the business forward. Tasks and responsibilities will include:-
* Assist with all aspects of the companys marketing to generate new business opportunities
* Assist in the set up and implementation of an internet shop, including a related banking and stock control procedures
* To help with all aspects of the day to day running of a shop, including housekeeping, banking, till procedures etc
* To work within the shop in a face to face capacity
* Maintain high standards of customer service at all times, liaising with colleagues
* Conduct stock counts as and when required
* Hours of work 40 per week
Essential requirments:
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong Marketing background
* Flexible and adaptable
* Excellent knowledge of the set up and running of an internet store
* Ability to multitask
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Sociable and outgoing
Additional requirments:
Previous experience in a retail would be preferred

* The company is a specialist menswear retailer and has a number of outlets in the Belfast area.
* They provide their service to men of all ages and sizes, up to 62 waist, 64 chest & 7XL.
* The company are now keen to develop their business by offering internet shopping to their customers
Internship placement location:
* The company is based in the east of Northern Ireland.
* Newtownards is adjacent to the north of the Strangford Lough and also not far away from a lovley coastside.
* The major city of Belfast is only 15 kms away
* There are number of pubs, clubs, plus many restaurants catering for every taste of cuisine
Remuneration:
A training allowance of £700 per month will be provided to assist with accommodation and subsistence costs.
